LEMON INK

Lemon sugar based ink

To carry out the lemon ink it has only been used their peel. This process is similar as orange ink, because the characteristics of the peel are very similar. First of all, you have to peel the lemon and put the peel to boil during 20 minutes to soften the peel because it is very difficult to crush. Once boiled and crushed, it has to add sugar (we put much) and put in on fire to remove the water.

If the mix has big particles, it has to be crashed as many times as better to become liquid. The mix has to be reduced until it becomes thick. The process is very long because it has to be leaved one or
two days in a flat surface in touch with the environment until the
water disappears.

The resulting color of the lemon ink is a very soft color, similar to varnish. It works better with a dark support than white.

Lemon ink has a nice smell.
